Everything known in the world is a stable energy that provides security and structure for us. But to really break free from the mold, you're going to have to do something extraordinary….that being something unknown. 

Many of these abstract paintings I create go through this dialogue between what's known and unknown to create something unique. My processes are inspired by the ancient philosophy of Yinyang which in modern day terms represent the balance between opposites. My work specifically leans into what is masculine and feminine, structured and fluid, emotional and rational, neither one existing without the other. I believe that the more we can cultivate this perspective, the more harmonious we will be with the Earth and each other.
