Description:

The initial brushstrokes began with black squares and rectangular shapes. At the time I was researching the philosophy of order and my thinking’s were that perhaps by painting linear squares, this would bring more structure into my life. Boy oh boy did that not work at all….. the tides of my emotion could not bare the preciseness of drawing perfect squares, I was on the brink of rage and all my “perfectionisms” washed away with the sacred burn of anger.

I realized that it is better to release anger in some healthy form rather than pushing it away and pretending it’ll just disappear.

Artwork is Three dimensional and unframed, hence the center yellow shape sits slightly off the background.
